The Trek line of bicycles leverages extensive R&D and race technology to deliver the most efficient, durable and comfortable rides. Project One Bikes are an option for the more discerning riders who want to customize their bike's color(s) and components. All new bikes come fully assembled by a Trek factory-trained mechanic and include a free tune-up at the one-year point. Annual service plans are also available and prices vary by make & model. Call or visit the store for details. We can also get bikes/e-bikes by Surly, KTM, Salsa & others. Have a certain make/model in mind? ... give us a call. We service these and most other makes and models.
PPB has also partnered with the New England distributor of Italian made Guerciotti and Ciocc Bikes. These Road and gravel framesets combine the best of Italian design and craftsmanship with proven and maintainable group sets from Shimano and SRAM (Dura Ace, Ultegra, 105, Red AXS, Force AXS, Rival AXS).

Customers are encouraged to post area cycling events and opportunities on the store's Event Bulletin board for fellow riders to see.

Basic Tune-up
Basic Tune-up
The basic tune up includes a safety inspection and adjustments to existing on-bike components to optimize performance. These include headset, crankset, shifters, derailleurs and brakes. Tires are inflated to manufacture's specifications and carbon seat posts if used are lubed. Equipment upgrades and/or replacements are at additional cost.

"Plus" includes the Basic Tune-Up along with inspecting/lubricating wheel hubs, trueing wheels and the cost of labor for one of the following services (if needed):
-chain replacement
-cassette replacement

-Shift cable replacement (1)
Parts not included. Does not apply for internally routed cables and hydraulic brake systems (additional charges).

Overhaul
Overhaul
This depends on the bike and the work needed. A full inspection will need to be performed and a parts list and cost estimate will need to be prepared and agreed upon before work begins. The estimate will be a minimum $25 charge which will be deducted from the final bill if the overhaul is performed.

Palmer Pro Bike (PPB) does not have the space to stock every Trek bike and accessory, BUT the entire Trek, Electra and Bontrager lineups to include shoes, helmets, apparel, components and accessories can be viewed at Trekbikes.com . If you have questions and/or find an item that you want, phone Palmer Pro Bike to check for in-store availability. If your item is not in stock at the store we can order it for you from Trek or another supplier. If buying a bike, talking with a store guide is the best way to ensure that you're ordering the right bike for the type of riding you will do. We'd be happy to discuss your riding style, size you and order your bike for you. This way you can rest assured that your new bike will fit, be assembled correctly and warrantied. Commentary - Bike owners need a reliable repair shop to diagnose, advise and/or fix their ride. On occasion an older bike or one that is ridden hard may need to be returned to revisit a repair. PPB customers are encouraged to return a recently serviced bike for adjustments or further evaluation at no additional cost.
