Why Palmer Pro Bike?

Palmer Pro Bike is committed to providing the best riding experience to cyclists of all ages, styles and abilities. The Trek line of bicycles leverages the latest technology to deliver the most efficient and comfortable ride. All bikes are assembled by a Trek factory-trained mechanic.  Let Palmer Pro Bike find the right bike for you … because YOU deserve the best!

At PPB, cycling is more than a sport, it is community. Whether your thing is competing, touring or just cruising the neighborhood, all cyclists share a passion for expanding horizons and the sense of freedom that a bike ride delivers. Customers are encouraged to post area cycling events and opportunities on the store's Event Bulletin board for fellow riders to see.

Flexible Service

PPB will work with the bike owner to provide maintenance and repair services that are within the customer's budget. Often, less expensive components can provide years of reliable use. PPB will help you choose the right part(s) for your bike and riding style.

Competitive Prices

PPB will make every effort to match or beat prices on new Trek bicycles sold at local area brick and mortar stores.

Palmer Pro Bike offers a full range of services from simple flat repairs to complete rebuilds of modern and vintage rides. No project is too small and repairs are made with the goal of exceeding the customer's expectations regardless of budget.

Basic Tune-up

The basic tune up includes a safety inspection and adjustments to existing on-bike components to optimize performance. These include headset, crankset, shifters, derailleurs and brakes. Tires are inflated to manufacture's specifications and carbon seat posts if used are lubed. Equipment upgrades and/or replacements are at additional cost.

BMX - $40

Tune-up Plus

"Plus" includes the Basic Tune-Up along with inspecting/lubricating wheel hubs, trueing wheels and the cost of labor for one of the following services (if needed):

-chain replacement

-cassette replacement

-tire/tube replacement (1)

-brake cable replacement (1)

-Shift cable replacement (1)

Parts not included. Does not apply for internally routed cables and hydraulic brake systems (additional charges).

BMX - $60

This depends on the bike and the work needed. A full inspection will need to be performed and a parts list and cost estimate will need to be prepared and agreed upon before work begins. The estimate will be a minimum $25 charge which will be deducted from the final bill if the overhaul is performed.

Shop Notes:

PPB does not have the space to stock every Trek bike model, BUT the Trek bike lineup can be viewed and purchased at . If you find the bike you want on Trek's website you can purchase it and have it shipped directly to Palmer Pro Bike for assembly by a Trek factory-trained mechanic. By doing this, shipping is free and your bike will be assembled correctly. Home delivery is also an option for an additional charge. If you have questions about sizing or anything else just phone PPB at (413) 289 9458.

Commentary - Bike owners need a mechanic that they can work with to diagnose and fix their ride. On occasion an older bike or one that is ridden hard may need to be returned to revisit a repair. PPB customers are encouraged to return a recently serviced bike for adjustments or further evaluation at no additional cost.
